"Shoulder Stretch"

The "Shoulder Stretch"  is a stretching exercise whose purpose is to stretch certain of your shoulder and upper back muscles now so you won't hurt them later (i.e. prior to activity). The starting position is with your right (or left) arm over your head and that hand placed palm first in the center of your back.  Your other hand (left or right) is placed on the elbow of the arm that is over your head. The exercise is done by pushing in on the elbow of the hand which is over your head, lightly, but firmly.  This pushing should be held for at least 5 seconds. Repeat with the other arm.
