"Squats"
"Squats" are an exercise to increase the flexibility of the muscles around the knee and of the quadriceps. It is important that persons performing this exercise do not bend their knees below the horizontal (90º) position or to "snap" their legs back to a vertical position as both of these actions create unnecessary "wear and tear" on the knees. Smooth, deliberate action is called for.
